Ben
Ben has been a professional stringer for over 10 years. He specialises in badminton as he’s gained lots of knowledge from playing the sport himself.
Over the years Ben has strung for many different player abilities from beginners up to professional level. Ben has worked closely with many different brands and organisations in the past such as Yonex, Ashaway, Babolat and Badminton England. Ben has an extensive knowledge of badminton string and rackets so he can advise you on what to choose.
John
John has been stringing professionally for 35 years. He specialises in tennis as he has been a player from a young age and an ex-tennis-coach of 30 years plus.
John has strung for a vast range of players, from beginners at club, up to professionals, as he has strung at ATP and ITF events and still does to date. John is a member of various stringing associations so is kept up to date with the latest news on all things stringing, rackets and technology. In the past John has worked with brands such as Babolat, Yonex and Dunlop so is your go to guy for tennis strings and racket advice.

Pick Up/Drop Off
For a fee of £5.00 we are also happy to collect and deliver rackets within a 5 mile radius of central Milton Keynes. Also, collection and drop service available with John from Towcester, Northamptonshire.

We offer racket customisations such as racket balancing and weight matching. Grip enlargements. Logo Stenciling. Bumper and Grommet strip replacement (when available).

We like to keep our turnaround time within 24 hours, however, we do get busier times of the year so it could take a little longer.

Yes, please contact us before your visit to make an appointment.

Yes, if the garage we are based in is open, you can fill out a form, attach to your rackets and post it through our letterbox at the bottom of the workshop door.

Yes, we have a wide range of replacements and overgrips with a variety of brands in stock. Also, we do not charge a fee for fitting grips to your rackets.

Yes, we have a £12.00 labour charge.

Yes, we can order strings, grips and accessories that are normally with us within 48 hours.

This all depends on how many rackets there are, the time it takes to complete and the amount of materials used.

We accept Cash, Card or BACS.

We accept the majority of credit/debit card providers including AMEX, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

String breakages aside, the rule of thumb is, if you play once a week then restring your racket once a year, twice a week, then twice a year and so on. However, if you are happy with how the racket is performing then keep playing with it.
